Naples, FL – [12/30/2024] – FC Naples is happy to announce the addition of Brecc Evans to the team. At only 25 years old, he has played over 100 games in USL League One. The center-back delivers valuable experience to the team’s defense. The leadership, consistency, and winning mentality he brings to FC Naples will be crucial as the team prepares for its inaugural season.
An All-Around Champion
In 2019, at just 20 years old, Evans captained North Texas SC in his debut year to the USL League One Regular Season Championship. He started and played in 24 games; notching 82 duel wins, 52 aerial duel wins, 33 interceptions, 63 clearances throughout the season, and started in 11 of the 12 clean sheets North Texas achieved during the season.
Evans also recently claimed the 2024 USL Jägermeister Cup with Northern Colorado, showcasing his ability to perform in high-pressure situations. Adding to his experience, Evans also played a full season in the USL Championship with Memphis 901, featuring in 16 games, and gaining valuable exposure to a higher level of competition.
